July Wrap-up

After the storm

I won’t lie: July has been hard.

Whoever decided that school holidays in the UK needed to change, that the summer holidays in particular were ‘too long’ and that therefore it would be a good idea to make the last half-term of the academic year the longest of them all – that person clearly never taught and never had children in school. But we made it, and are enjoying the leisurely mornings and languid afternoons.
