Summer is here, the days are long – and half the year is over! I guess it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things (aka LIFE). Perhaps I should stop paying too much attention to the marking of time by clock and calendar. Staying attuned to the seasons, inner as well as outer, sounds like a much more peaceful way of being.


I am enjoying the warmer days. The joint and muscle pain I experience with fibromyalgia seems to be soothed by the warmth and humidity. In recent years, I’ve noticed the air on summer mornings being fragrant, and I love stepping outside to be received by it. In the evenings, I stand with bare feet on the lawn and water our plants. It has been very dry.
